#ProPlantTips for Care:
Improved disease-resistance versus black spot, this Hybrid Tea Roses need full sun, so provide at least six hours of sunlight a day, favoring the morning sun if you have it! Ensuring the soil is enriched and well-drained gives you the best performance. Provide good air circulation and water new plants regularly so they do not dry out between waterings.
Our growers recommend that you use drip irrigation, rather than overhead watering with sprinklers. This tip is also a helpful trick to save time with container gardens. Use mulch to help keep the roots moist and keep the ground near your Roses hydrated on a regular schedule once established to support the blooms, avoiding splashing the foliage.
Feed with an organic, granular, slow-release fertilizer in early spring and mid-summer; following application rates on the label. Vigilantly avoid nitrogen-rich lawn fertilizer near your flowering Roses!
In the fall, rake, and bag any fallen leaf litter to place in the yard waste. In zones 7 and below, Hybrid Tea Roses should be mounded with 8-12 inches of mulch in late fall after the frost killed the leaves for best overwintering. Prune Hybrid Tea Roses in early spring, removing any broken branches. Trim it down by shortening up the canes to 6-8 inches, cutting at a 45-degree angle just above a bud. Thin out the thickest canes down to ground level. This will leave younger, thinner canes to flourish and produce the healthiest blooms.
