Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Spanish Lavender needs full sun and very well-drained soil to do their best, tolerating poor thin soils and low moisture once they are established. Provide regular moisture for new plants but ensure they dry out slightly between waterings. To help hold in more consistent moisture, mulch the site well with 3-4 inches of arborist bark chips to insulate the root system and maintain better moisture consistency.
Deadhead the spring flowers for a summer rebloom. Give your plants an early spring trim, only to remove any dead tips and old blooms. Provide good air circulation and this plant has a habit of reblooming when deadhead the flower heads as soon as they're done blooming. Requiring little maintenance otherwise, Lavender is rabbit and deer-resistant as well!
What is the difference between Lavender and Spanish Lavender?
There are many types of Lavender and Spanish Lavender is just one. There are English, French, Portuguese, and many hybrids and cultivars. Spanish Lavender is actually native to Africa and the Mediterranean, and while the flowers aren't as fragrant, the foliage certainly is. French Lavender - also known as Fringed Lavender is usually an evergreen from eastern and southern Spain. While Portuguese Lavender - also known as Spike Lavender is also from the western Mediterranean and is an evergreen with a stronger scent. English Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) or Common Lavender is also a Mediterranean native.
