Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Slim, elegant Autumn Rocket Camellia (Camellia sasanqua 'Autumn Rocket') grows skyward quickly and dazzles with crisp white, semi-double blooms in fall. It fits beautifully in tight spaces...and blooms at a time of year when little else is flowering.
Starting as showy pink buds, the semi-double Anemone-like petals open gleaming white that glows in both filtered sun and moonlight. The effect is amplified with golden-yellow anthers held high on etheric white anthers surrounded by a center pomp of petaloids.
Planting and Application:
Erect fastigiate branches are held strongly upright and are cloaked in glossy, dark green evergreen foliage. Skinny, broad-leaved evergreen Autumn Rocket makes an amazing vertical accent that delivers year-round color!
- Plant a hedge in a side yard to absorb sound and screen unsightly views. Space them three feet apart on center, measuring from the center of one to the center of the next.
- Keep Autumn Rocket Camellia in large containers to create a chic feature on your patio. Or flank a pair as sentries on either side of your front door for a designer-look.
- Camellia is an excellent choice for an Asian Garden. Plant several in a curving line to grace the strong presence of a few large boulders or an outdoor fountain; and you'll give yourself plenty to contemplate after a busy day.
- Have some fun with your landscape design! Plant several of them in a geometric pattern with at least five feet between the plants...and let the kids play hide and seek for a life-long memory.
- If you are looking for a housewarming present, Autumn Rocket is a thoughtful choice. It's so versatile and requires little care once it's established.
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Autumn Rocket Camellia loves morning sun and afternoon shade. It will do very well in filtered sunlight all day, where it can soak up at least four hours of sunlight.
- Dig a hole twice as wide, and a little less than the depth of the pot in well-drained soil. Add the life-long support of symbiotic Nature Hills Root Booster formula to the planting hole and tap the well-hydrated plant out of it's pot.
- Firm up the backfill dirt around your plant, then apply a three-inch layer of pine bark mulch over the top of the root system. Pull it away from directly touching the stems.
- Saturate the ground around your plant in order to eliminate air pockets. Give supplemental water the first season and during long periods of dry weather.
- Prune in early spring to shape and to remove any damaged branches. Fertilize with a flowering Acid Lovers formula in early spring, following label instructions for application rates.
