To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

A natural hybrid of several Serviceberry varieties, Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry offers a lovely landscape display all year long. The blue-green foliage is very attractive all season with a well-formed elliptical shape and finely serrated margins. Enjoy their shade in small space gardens.
In spring, you'll appreciate the delicate, fine-textured clusters of white flowers which simply cover this tree. This outstanding flower display is a wonderful harbinger of the growing season and supports the early nectar needs of beneficial insects.
Nicknames include Shadbush and Juneberry, named for the annual summer crops of ripe edible berries. Soon, you'll see the flowers give way to small green berries that gradually deepen into red, and then finally mature into a deep, rich purple in early summer! #ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant Amelanchier in either full sun or partial shade. They need at least four hours of sunlight a day for fruiting and fall color. The widely adaptable species is found in nearly every state. In your landscape, give it well-drained soil and a moderate amount of water regularly.
Add a few handfuls of compost to your backfill soil from the planting hole around the bare root system. We highly recommend the use of Nature Hills Root Booster during planting. Follow the directions on the label. Top-dress your planting site with a 3-4 inch thick layer of arborist mulch to hold in moisture and insulate the roots from the cold winters of USDA growing zones 3 to 9.
Prune your Serviceberry after they flower because these shrubby trees flower on old wood. Alternately, you can renewal prune to maintain vigor by removing the oldest, fattest stems and least productive older branches out at the base of the plant. Remove no more than a third of the plant at a time every 3-5 years. Please, take your time to thoughtfully study your plant. Think of pruning as an art form, and you'll be rewarded handsomely. Train as a single stem or keep as a multi-stemmed shrub or small tree.
