Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

White as snow, the white nectarine Arctic Jay Nectarine Tree (Prunus persica var. nucipersica 'Arctic Jay') will blow you away with its rich flavor and perfect balance of sweetness and acid! This freestone nectarine is a mid-sized tree that is ideal for eating fresh off the branches, still warm from the sun and has very attractive creamy colored smooth skin that's blushed a lovely red.

You'll enjoy the flush of fragrant bright pink blossoms that smother each stem in the spring! These fluttering petals will be buzzing with happy bees! These quickly develop into the beautiful fruit that is nestled among the long green leaves.

Arctic Jay has firm, sweet flesh that's described as melt in your mouth! Perfect for eating right off the tree and ripening just in time for summer garden parties! These are also ideal for canning, sauces and baking because the firm flesh holds up well when cooked!

Planting and Application:

Nectarine Trees are fantastic replacements for that flowering accent tree that won't produce fruit. By planting edible landscaping plants instead of simple flowering ones, your landscape pulls double duty for you and pays you back for your investment a hundred times over! You'll enjoy blooms, shade, fruit, fall color and provide habitat and food for birds and pollinators too!

Arctic Jay is small enough for both front and back yard gardening! Add an accent tree to your seating areas or as a gorgeous flowering focal point to anchor your front yard landscaping, while making your neighbor's mouths water every summer!

  • Red & Cream Blushed Smooth Skin
  • Sweet White Flesh
  • Vigorous & Productive Freestone
  • Self-Fertile
  • Spring Blooms & Summer Harvest

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Nectarine Tree care is easy, they need full sun for the most blooms and fruit. Fruit trees do best in a very well-drained site that's enriched and have moderate, yet consistent moisture access and a thick layer of mulch over the surface. These trees appreciate extra moisture in harsh times and regular fertility.

  • Full Sun
  • Moderate Yet Regular Moisture
  • Enriched Well-Drained Soil & Mulch
  • Prune When Dormant - Easily Keep Under 10 Feet
  • 500-800 Chill Hours (USDA Zones 4 - 9)

For white as snow fruit that's sweet as can be, Arctic Jay Nectarine Tree will become your new favorite replacement for that flowering accent! So order yours today at NatureHills.com for sweet tomorrow!
