Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

How to Use Allée® Elm in the Landscape

If you have room for only one shade tree, you'll never regret this choice. Relax in your space and cool your entertainment area with one planted on the south or southwestern aspect of your lawn.

On a larger property, add several in a lush grouping. Plant them from 30 to 50 feet apart, varying the distance between trees for a more natural effect.

These trees can easily be used with formal, uniform spacing, as well. Why not create your own park in your landscape?

Biodiversity is a good idea, and you can achieve a formal look with mass plantings of mixed trees, as well.

Select evergreen and smaller flowering trees, too.

Allée Elm is happy to become a steady backdrop for a row of Pink Flowering Dogwood trees, or take center stage flanked by Eastern White Pine.

Use our filters on our website to choose companion plants for your Growing Zone. You can filter by type, size, spread, sun conditions and more.

Let Allée Elm grace your landscape with its significant presence. We're so glad to grow, sell and ship these worthy trees right to your doorstep.

#ProPlantTips for Care

Give this Elm full sun, with at least six hours of direct sunlight a day. They are highly adaptable to soil type, but it must drain quickly.

We recommend you ensure your trees receive a medium amount of water, especially when it gets dry in summer. This is a good practice to keep them stress-free and in tip-top health.

Mulch is also helpful. Apply a three-inch layer over the root system. Pull back the mulch from around the trunk for proper air circulation.

Train your tree with strategic pruning in late winter, if needed. The goal is a well-balanced canopy with good airflow.

We have a limited inventory of these popular trees. The highly sought after Allée Elm will sell quickly, please order yours quickly.
