These cold-hardy herbaceous perennials, Columbines thrive from Nova Scotia to the east of the Rocky Mountains. Easy to grow Columbine does best in well-drained soils and consistent access to moisture. Be sure to water well their first year while establishing, but after that, Winky Double Red is drought tolerant! Always water potted plants very well and check them frequently for moisture.

Deer and rabbits always seem to pass over Columbines! Tolerant and hardy and able to grow in harsh, rocky conditions, Columbine seems to be able to grow just about anywhere!
