Need a versatile evergreen groundcover with a lacy texture? The Arcadia Juniper (Juniperus sabina 'Arcadia') is a lovely, versatile medium green shrub that is as easy to grow and maintain as the rest of the Juniper family!

Your Arcadia Juniper displays rich, green, lacy-textured foliage! The dense nature of this evergreen presents a somewhat layered effect and semi-spreading growth habit for a picture-perfect effect in the landscape!

Arcadia Juniper is a dwarf and will reach a diminutive height, but it is a hardy shrub with particular resistance to Juniper blight, which is a problem with some other Juniper varieties. Hardy throughout USDA planting zones 3 to 7, Arcadia is very cold-hardy and adaptable!

Landscape Application:

The Arcadia Juniper is a great choice for a hardy, evergreen groundcover with a lot of uses. Unlike the average evergreen groundcover, Arcadia has the added advantage of foliage that is particularly attractive with both pruning and natural growth.

Plant a few of these for an effective groundcover, erosion control, and stabilizing soil on steep slopes. An excellent edging plant and facer shrub for use in the front of your older hedges, and foundation plantings.

Mix and match with other Junipers and evergreen shrubs for a unique patchwork planting of greens, blue-greens, gold, greens and silver evergreenery! You'll love Arcadia mixed with its dwarf cousin the Mini Arcade Juniper! Arcadia would also be excellent for a topiary project, container specimen, and mixed planter spiller!

  • Bright Green Fluffy Evergreens

  • Spreading Low-Growing Shrub
  • Dense Growth & Upswept Tips
  • Low Borders & Edging, Foundation Plants, Containers & Slopes

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Arcadia prefers a well-drained and sunny location but is tolerant of unfavorable soil conditions. It has even been known to thrive in rocky soils and is great for erosion control. Favoring moderate regular moisture at first, once established, your Junipers become drought-tolerant and only need supplemental watering during prolonged periods of no rainfall. Deer tend to leave it alone, so you won't have to worry about protecting it from nibblers. If needed, you can prune your shrub to encourage it to grow denser or simply nip back wayward branches in the spring.

  • Full Sun Evergreen Shrubs
  • Must Have Well-Drained Soil Of Any Kind
  • Moderate to Low Moisture Needs
  • Prune In Spring If Needed
  • Handles Tough Sites, Shrugs Off Deer & Urban Pollution

Whatever your needs or conditions, the Arcadia Groundcover Juniper will provide you with an evergreen to please for years to come! Order now at NatureHills.com and enjoy carefree greenery in your landscape!
