Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Growing Zones 5-10
Put your best foot forward with the showy blossoms of TEMPO™ Rose Geum (Geum x 'TNGEUTR'') as a beautiful addition to your Spring Garden. You'll adore the alluring charms of the rose-pink petals on their dark stems.
This compact perennial makes everyone in your family happy! The outstanding flowering display lasts for many months in the first half of the growing season. Plenty of dark rose-pink petals surround a pretty ring of stamens for an unforgettable look.
These noteworthy blooms are upturned and prominently held on burgundy-red stems. Add plenty of these valuable plants so you have plenty of material on hand for cut flower arrangements! Snipping the blooms regularly will also encourage more blooming! The local butterfly population will be so grateful to you, as they need this kind of long-lasting nectar resource.
Landscape Application:
Both pretty and rugged, this improved modern cultivar spreads nicely to fill in bare spots or holes in your garden beds. Or grow them in the ground for a glamorous addition to your borders and beds. This is an easy choice to bring a designer touch to your tired old foundation plantings.
They'll be a terrific "Filler" in large outdoor containers that you'll enjoy for many years. Even after the blooms are passed...the durable, deeply lobed foliage provides an attractive accent. TEMPO™ Rose Geum is a marvelous mixer, as well. Pair them with taller Rose bushes, Spirea, Baptisia, Blanket Flower, Shasta Daisy, Butterfly Bush, Adam's Needle Yucca...you name it!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Growing best in full sun and in well-drained soil to resist pests, bunnies, and deer. Provide regular moisture for new plants, but once established, Geum becomes very self-sufficient! Deadheading keeps the flowers returning, early spring pruning keeps the mounds full of fresh even growth, and a division every 3-5 years keeps these spreading perennials in check.
- Full Sun & Partial Sun
- Well-Drained Soil
- Regular Moderate Moisture
- Easy To Grow & Cold Hardy & Very Heat Tolerant

You simply can't go wrong with TEMPO™ Rose Geum, especially our expert-grown, well-rooted specimens. After all, we've worked hard to earn the trust of professional landscape designers across the country!
