To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Buying Options for Plants
Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

The soft lavender blooms meld beautifully with the green and pale creamy yellow splashed aromatic leaves for a gorgeous presentation and butterflies all growing season long!
Your Summer Skies features long spikes of clustered lavender-blue fragrant flowers that are a show-stopper in summer and last through fall. However, perhaps even more valuable in this Butterfly Bush variety is the variegated foliage that will create an eye-catching image in your garden even when not in bloom!
The light yellow edging against the dark green centers of the leaves has a dramatic effect on the foliage of your Summer Skies, and visually brings this shrub to the forefront of any settling it's planted in. As the foliage ages, the leaf edges soften to a creamy white.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Hardy throughout a wide range of USDA planting zones 5 to 9, Butterfly Bushes need full sun for the most blooms and the best growth. Anything less than 6 hours of sun a day will result in fewer blooms and leggier growth. The variegated leaves are even resistant to scorching. Provide a well-drained, enriched site with moderate moisture throughout the growing season, especially during the hot summers.
Deadheading the old blooms keeps the plant fresh-looking and keeps those flowers coming! Heat and drought-tolerant, provide a 3-4 inch deep layer of arborist mulch to hold in moisture and insulate the roots. Mulch will help keep the leaves clean and prevent mud from splashing onto them. Each year in early spring, cut all of the branches down to a foot or less and allow all new growth to produce incredible new growth and flowers each year.
