This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

The gorgeous dark green Emerald Jewel Boxwood (Buxus microphylla var. koreana 'Emerald Jewel') has lush broadleaf evergreen emerald-green leaves that form into 2-3 foot tall and wide rounded shrubs that are highly adaptable and easy to grow!
These fantastic shrubs are dense and compacted smaller evergreen bushes all year round! Tiny fragrant but inconsequential flowers are creamy-white to yellow and appear in the spring that you may not notice, but the bees will seek them out for their pollen and nectar.
This adorable miniature Korean Boxwood is deer and drought-tolerant, vigorous, and very winter-hardy! Widely adaptable to USDA planting zones 5 to 10, these evergreens are not the fastest growing, but they are incredibly low-maintenance, and dense-growing!
Planting and Application:

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Boxwood needs full sun for the densest greenest growth. Provide a location with well-drained soil and regular moisture, needing less moisture once established. All plants appreciate being planted with the life-long support of Nature Hills Root Booster.
People are curious about when to trim Boxwoods, but it's easy! Simply prune your shrub after the first flush of growth in the late spring to keep that formal look. If left untrimmed, it has a classic free-form growth!
It is best to mulch to keep the root system cool and moist, the evergreen foliage needs to be protected from drying winds, especially in colder growing zones. Water evergreens in the fall to help prevent windburn, and spray with wilt-stop according to package directions.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade Evergreens
- Moderate Moisture Needs
- Highly Adaptable - Any Well-Drained Soil Type
- Prune Or Shear After Flowering/First Flush of Growth
