Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

You work hard to polish up your home and landscape with just the right special touches. Consider carefully where you would place Ruby Ruby™ Miniature Rose (Rosa 'WEKsactrumi') because it is an exquisite focal point from the expert growers at NatureHills.com!

Miniature Roses are so darling, and all your guests will think so - the two-legged variety and the winged visitors too! So you will want to study all 25 petals of the ruby-red, exhibition-quality, fully double blooms! These small Rose bushes will grow to become a rounded, slightly spreading canopy.

Hybridized by Tom Carruth, the shapely buds and clusters of open blooms remain red, red, red all the way through the fall. Snip them for indoor arrangements regularly to encourage another round of blooms to develop. Ruby Ruby™ Red Rose plants have built-in disease resistance and produce reblooming flushes of sublime clustered blooms. This Rose stays showy all season long and is adaptable throughout USDA hardiness zones 6 to 9!

Planting and Application:

Miniature Roses are small-scale garden gems and fit into any sized garden, even if you don't have a yard at all! Pop one into an outdoor garden container for a chic accent on your patio or pool deck! One would make an excellent thriller with spiller groundcovers around it in a fancy urn by your back seating areas or one on either side of your front door. Just be sure to place them a bit outside of "snagging range" of your guest's clothes!

Make a sweet garden feature with a Shasta Daisy or your favorite perennials and Groundcovers. Feel free to mix and match with our other Roses to further accent this deep true red bloom. Warm-toned Miniature Roses like the Sunblaze® series would be an excellent partner to add charm throughout your sunny garden path!

Use these sweet ruby bloomers as edging and facer shrubs to add pops of color to your garden beds and foundation plantings. Tuck into a mailbox garden, around rock gardens, or fill gaps in the Rose garden and pollinator borders. You can even take things to the next level by including Ruby Ruby™ Miniature Rose with its matching tree-form Rose for multi-level and high-style garden design!

  • Deep True Red, Non-Fading Blooms
  • Full Double Blooms Held in Repeat Blooming Clusters
  • Space-Saving Miniature Rose Bush
  • Cut Flowers & Pollinators Galore
  • Container Gardening, Edging, Garden Accents & Fantastic Gifts

Rose Bush FAQs

Where Is The Best Place To Plant Rose Bushes?

Rose bushes need a protected location and prefer full sun where they flower best in at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Choose a location in good, enriched soil that drains well and has good air circulation.

What Is The Best Month to Plant Roses?

You can plant Roses any time if you are able to provide enough consistent moisture and attention. There is not a specific month that is best, generally because it changes with temperatures, climate, and growing zone. However, the easiest times of the year to get Rose bushes established in your landscape are in spring after the last frost date, and in fall about 4-6 weeks before the first frost.

Do Roses Come Back Every Year?

Rose bushes are deciduous woody perennial shrubs and will return bigger and better each year.
