Vibrant Wild Rose look, modern Rose superiority, the Winnipeg Parks Shrub Rose (Rosa 'Winnipeg Parks') is a vibrant cherry-pink Shrub Rose that is hardy, everblooming, and has something of interest to look at all growing season long - and beyond!

The semi-double blooms are a pollinator's favorite! Opening fully to expose the nectar and pollen-laden golden centers, bees and butterflies will happily be frolicking from cluster to cluster of bloom! Just when you think these deep pink blooms are done, you'll see more cherry-red buds forming among the dark green, glossy foliage!

Winnipeg Parks Rose is grown on its own root, making it fantastically hardy and disease-resistant! Hardy in the chilliest climates of USDA growing zones 3 to 7, this Landscaping Shrub Rose can be killed back to its roots each winter, then bounce back as good as ever each spring!

Planting and Application:

Not only do your pollinators love these blooms, but birds will love nesting and roosting in the dense branching and protective thorns. Then in fall, birds return to your Winnipeg Parks Rose to peck at the colorful red Rose hips that form and provide winter interest (and maybe some tea and preserves for you too!).

Winnipeg Parks Roses are formidable hedges and property division! You'll love the dense greenery and space-saving growth that forms a 2-3 foot tall and wide ball, but also love the fast growth and vibrant color all growing season long! Create groupings for wildlife, and rows of cheerful flowering backdrops, mix among your shrub borders, and create dramatic yet informal accents throughout your sunny landscape.
