To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Bare Root Plants
Bare root plants are sold by height from the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may exceed minimum height requirements.

- Shrubs & Perennials: 1 foot, 18 inches, 2 feet

Brilliant sunny color, the Yellow Asiatic Lily (Lilium x asiatica (Yellow cv)) resembles large stars with light orange speckles on the petals and sepals! These cold-hardy perennial bulbs bloom from late spring through early summer. And with multiple buds per stem, you’ll enjoy a long succession of bloom time! Your local pollinators will enjoy these blossoms too!
Forming more stems with age, each upright stem has a fringe of green foliage. Maturing into clumps of multiple stems that can be divided every few years, you’ll enjoy one-foot wide masses of stems and blooms upwards of 2-4 feet tall!
Yellow Asiatic Lilies are cold hardy and heat tolerant in hardiness zones 4-11, plus they’re highly adaptable and generally pest and deer resistant. About the only thing that might kill them is compacted or soggy soil.
Planting and Application:
Asiatic Lily blooms are large sunny blossoms that shine in the sun! Plant as edging or focal points among perennial and cottage borders, rock gardens or among any wildflower and cut flower garden. Plant them in rows or groupings to maximize their brilliant color! These are also fantastically sized for pots and planters! Any sunny porch or balcony can enjoy these as stand-alone specimen groupings or as thrillers and focal points among mixed containers.
Yellow Lily are fantastic cut flowers! Just one stem is a bouquet in-and-of-itself! Plant with Ornamental grasses, Liatris, Coreopsis, Daisy and Roses for a beautiful display indoors or out! They of course also go beautifully with other Lilies! They also make cheerful gifts for all occasions!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Lily bulbs do best in full sun and can tolerate partial sun, especially in hotter climates. Plant in well-drained soil that’s moderately enriched and has average moisture content. Deadhead immediately after bloom but retain the green stems so they can make food for the bulbs. After frost, prune away the dead stems to the ground.
