To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Lavender Falls Wisteria - Magnificent Fragrant Vine!
The Lavender Falls Wisteria Vine (Wisteria floribunda 'Betty Tam') is a phenomenal Wisteria that blooms profusely with up to 20-inch long, pendulous, long drooping clusters of lavender just before the foliage appears in the spring.
The lavender cascading racemes of Lavender Falls have the scent of sweet grape jelly, and they rebloom two or three times during the summer with smaller racemes. The flowers naturally attract butterflies and Hummingbirds and you'll love snipping a few for your bouquets!
Lush green exotic-looking foliage forms on fast-growing tendrils that become woody vines and stems. Plants grow rapidly to 20 feet and completely cover any structure they are allowed to cling to. Hardy throughout USDA plant hardiness zones 5 to 9 and are relatively pest and disease-resistant!
Landscape Application:
This Japanese Wisteria quickly establishes a beautiful trellis accent or patio shade cover! The deciduous vines carry lovely, fragrant flowers and vigorous growth makes Lavender Falls useful in a wide variety of settings, especially for screening and hiding eyesores or adding privacy around your sunny landscapes!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Lavender Falls grows in a wide range of soil types and moistures. It prefers a pH level between 5.0 - 8.0. These flowering vines thrive in full sun and they can tolerate some shade in hot Southern climates and moist soil.
During your plant's first season in the ground, water carefully and consistently to help the roots establish themselves in the soil. After that, water should be provided regularly as needed, especially during drought. A 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch will hold moisture in the soil consistently and keep the roots stress-free.
Pruning Wisteria Vines
Wisteria can grow fast and bloom on new wood. Established plants may grow 10 feet or more in a single year. You can certainly keep it much smaller with bi-yearly pruning.
Get the best flowering display with pruning before growth begins in late winter or very early spring. Remove dead or broken branches at this time. For size control, count four buds up along last year's growth, and trim your vine just above the fourth bud, removing excess side shoots.
Prune again just after the first round of spring blooms have faded. Deadheading will sometimes encourage a second, smaller flush of flowers on some varieties.

Chinese Wisteria and Japanese Wisteria are vigorous growers, so unmanaged vines can overtake an area, and they have surface runners that root when touching the ground.
How long does it take for a Wisteria to bloom?
Wisteria species should bloom 3 to 4 years after being established. A Wisteria can be slow to bloom when exposed to less sun or exposed to high-nitrogen fertilizer.
