Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
It is best to plant your ornamental Muhly Grass in full sun for the best growth, the most blooms, and the strongest stems to stand up to wind and time. Plant in very well-drained soil since soggy conditions can rot the roots and weaken their stems. New Muhly Grasses need regular moisture while they are establishing, but can be drought tolerant once they have settled.
Provide a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch around the roots of your plants to help them combat the effect of drought. Warm-season Ornamental Grasses need to be pruned in the early spring before they begin to grow again. Clean out their crowns of debris, and every 3-5 years to maintain the crown's vigor.
- Full Sun Perennials
- Adaptable to Most Well-Drained Soil Types
- Moderate to Low Moisture Once Established
- Provide Mulched Beds
- Prune In Early Spring
