#ProPlantTips for Care:
White Pineberry Plants do best in full sun and well-drained locations. White Carolina is heat tolerant, disease resistant, and produces a continual harvest from spring to fall! They will benefit from adding mulch such as straw, pine needles, or compost. They prefer rich soil with all the basic nutrients and a pH of 6-7. Plant one Red Everbearing Strawberry variety for every five White Carolina plants. This will help with the pollination of flowers on the White Carolina and should result in a better harvest performance.
Everbearers should not bear fruit with the first flush of flowers. They need their strength to establish the main plant and to sprout the runners. Pinch or cut off the first flowers allowing the flowers to later in the season to produce the fruit. Train runners with earth pins or stakes to encourage them to grow where you want them a few times throughout the growing season or pinch them back away from where you don't want them to grow.
