Willow trees grow in full sun but in hot climates of USDA planting zones 4 to 8, and handle well-drained soil locations that are moderately moist to wet but can withstand some drought when mature. Prune as needed in late winter but your Niobe Weeping Willow is a fast-growing tree that doesn't mind being trimmed. If left to grow naturally, its branchlets will reach right down to the ground.

Niobe Weeping Willow in Perfect Condition

My 3 foot bare root Niobe Weeping Willow came today and was perfectly packaged and protected. I'm very happy with the moisture packing and look of this tree. I soaked it in water for an hour or so and then placed it in the prepared hole I've had waiting for a week. Very happy with Nature Hills.

This is one stout tree. We have had some sever winters and winds and the Niobe continues to come back every year. It surprised me how fast it grew and I am glad I gave it plenty of room to spread. Just lovely!

Cold climate
