Vanilla Orchids are flowering vines that prefer partially shaded, filtered sun and higher humidity. So, provide an environment with both and moderate temperatures that will not drop below 50 degrees. Orchids need a very loose, fast-draining soil, comprised of lots of large bark chunks, sand and moderate fertility.
