Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones
Lacecap blooms in pretty soft pink, the Tuff Stuff Top Fun™ Reblooming Mountain Hydrangea (Hydrangea serrata 'SMNHSG') is a fantastic long-blooming ornamental shrub with small, compact mounds of textured green foliage!
Top Fun™ has dainty lacecap pink bloom takes on blue to purple tones (depending on the soil pH) with buttonlike green buds in the centers of the flat-topped clusters as the pink bracts on the outer blooms dance around the edges of each bloom! Pollinators adore Mountain Hydrangea flowers for their ample nectar resources!
Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 9, these compact deciduous shrubs flower throughout the summer and the dried flowers add fall interest! Growing just 2-3 feet in height and width, these rounded shrubs are wonderfully adaptable and easy to grow!
Planting and Application:
Reblooming Mountain Hydrangea are wonderful accents throughout the garden no matter how much room you have available! These petite flowering shrubs just bloom and bloom as edging, facer plants along your foundation plantings, and as low property division in rows! Ideal in Cottage gardens, Pollinator borders, and as shining specimens!
Top Fun™ blooms look fantastic in the landscape as they do in a vase bouquet! Add them to your Cutting garden as a backdrop planting or focal point shrub. Highlight sunny decks and balconies with these small shrubs planted in large planters or pots, or plant in containers around the pool! Create dense bird-friendly shelters by planting groups or in rows for low screening.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant Hydrangea shrubs in well-drained soil that is organically enriched in any full sun or partial shade location. Appreciating afternoon shade in hotter climates, Hydrangea also needs a good layer of arborist mulch over the root system to insulate them and keep moisture in the soil more consistently.
Considered an "everbloomer" you really need to see Tuff Stuff™ Hydrangeas to understand their sheer flower power. Since it blooms on old AND new wood, it is an almost non-stop bloomer from early summer and well into fall! Prune your shrub only to remove dead wood in spring, after the new growth begins to emerge. Because these bloom on old and new wood, pruning too much will remove the new flowers! Renewal pruning is best to keep them blooming by removing only one-third of the oldest, fattest stems every 3-5 years, leaving the youngest stems to bloom abundantly.
Mountain Hydrangeas are slightly dependent on soil pH and their pink blooms may take on more of a blue to purple hue. Play with this to your advantage and tweak these shrubs to match them to your garden's décor.
Tuff Stuff™ Hydrangea love moisture and sun but are wonderfully adaptable and mix and match beautifully with each other! Mix Top Fun™ with Ah-Ha® or Tuff Stuff™ Red for a range of flower colors!
