Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes

#ProPlantTips for Care:
There's no stopping this herbaceous perennial! Gaillardia grows vigorously in average to low fertility and almost any type of well-drained soil. They just adore growing in full sun for the strongest stems and fastest growth. Preferring regular moisture but can become very drought-tolerant once established, but it does not do well in heavy clay soils or shade - its only arch-enemies! Gaillardia self-sows, so deadhead after the blooms fade is recommended to encourage new blooms in profusion! Prune back in late fall once the foliage begins to yellow.
- Vigorous in Full Sun
- Low to Average Soil Moisture
- Well-Drained Average Soil
- Very Low Maintenance & Vigorous Compact Growth
- Deadhead to Prevent Reseed & Encourage More Blooms
- Prune Back Late Fall
- Deer, Rabbit & Drought Resistant
Sunny and cheerful Sunrita® Golden Yellow Blanket Flower is just the surefire sun perennial your garden needs to add some brilliance and extended blooming glory to your landscape - no matter how big or small it is! Now available at NatureHills.com!
