This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Bold broad leaves in vivid bright green with yellow accents, the orange-flowering Striata Canna (Canna 'Striata') is an incredibly bright and colorful accent plant that is sure to draw the eye and all the pollinators in your area! The fluttering and ruffled petals are a vibrant orange - a favorite color of hummingbirds and bees!
The bright color combination and the flowering spikes soaring over the paddle-like upright tropical leaves, make these incredibly brilliant specimens! Highlighted in groupings, en masse plantings, and bold rows!
Striata Canna Lilies grow from fibrous rhizomes and quickly display those incredibly flamboyant blooms! They flower all summer, requiring only a bit of deadheading to keep more blooms returning. Hardy outdoors year-round in USDA growing zones 8 through 11 but can be enjoyed as either annual accents in all growing zones. Canna can also be lifted and stored for the winter in a frost-free location in all northern climates.

Striata Canna are perfect for vertical, space-saving plantings, creating bold drifts of eye-popping color! Groupings and mass plantings especially highlight these vivid accents! The best location for these full-sun plants is in moderately moist to almost wet enriched soil, which should always well-drained. It is also a good idea to ensure that Canna has a 3-4 inch layer of arborist mulch over the surface. Provide regular fertilizer and deadhead when blooming is done. Canna rhizomes are not frost-hardy and do need to be dug in the fall before they freeze. Keep them in a cool, frost-free area in a bag in a garage or shed.
