Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

You'll love this collection of sustainable pollinator plants from the expert growers at Nature Hills! We've carefully chosen native plants with bright coloring. Each of them proves to be an irresistible attraction to pollinators, including bees and butterflies.

Plant these Spring Pollinator Pocket Garden (Aquilegia Canadensis, Penstemon digitalis, Asclepias tuberosa, Echinacea pallida) to create an easy to maintain flower garden. They deliver a showy display all spring long until well into mid-summer!

These native pollinator plants are extremely nectar rich and support pollinator populations. Best of all? No guesswork!

Each pocket garden comes with four different plants (and you get three of each). You'll receive three Wild Columbine, Foxglove Beardtongue, Butterfly Weed, and native Pale Purple Coneflower.

Use these sustainable native plants to achieve the look you want, from cutting-edge modern to a sweetly busy Cottage Garden.

These bold flowering plants coordinate beautifully together in both color and form. Enjoy the cunning little red and yellow "Fairy Flowers" nodding above the airy, ferny foliage of Wild Columbine to start your growing season.

Kids are fascinated by these early blooms. Look closely, as you'll likely see butterflies and even hummingbirds visit the yellow petals that are capped with fancy red sepals.

Smooth Foxglove Beardtongue adds the sophistication of pure white, large blooms that look great on sunny days, or in the moonlight. Pollinators adore the easy-access to nectar from these "flower factories."

Each tall clump of foliage produces long flower spires that are lined with vertical rows of two-lipped, tubular blooms. Your eyes will be drawn to these exceptionally showy blooms.

Add spice and a helpful host plant for Monarch caterpillars with the bold citron-orange of Butterfly Weed. It's a shame to call these weeds...they are way too pretty for that name.

As you can imagine, butterflies love the flat "landing pad" of these charming herbaceous forbs. Lance-shaped, silvery-green leaves are a perfect partner to the intense, orange blooms.

Each bloom cluster is composed of dozens of tiny flowers. Butterflies will work these plants over every day for hours! Watch later in the season for Monarch chrysalis.

No Butterfly Garden is complete without the gracefully tough prairie Coneflower. You'll love the juxtaposition of Echinacea pallida—or Pale Purple Coneflower—with the other plants.

Their downturned, slender petals droop appealingly from their dark, circular centers. It's a pale lavender shade that refreshes your eye.

This is an elegant native perennial that you'll be able to count on for years and years. They'll perform beautifully for you in full sun. Just wait till you see how many butterflies they'll attract.

We recommend that you leave the sturdy stems of your Pale Purple Coneflowers standing for winter interest. After all, you'll want to give the songbirds in your area a chance to peck at their seed heads.

Honestly, you can feel really good about this thoughtful choice of select plants. Make your mark with beautiful, colorful flower gardens that work to support the needs of our critical pollinators.

How to Use Spring Pollinator Pocket Garden in the Landscape

With these durable selections, even new gardeners can grow luxuriant native flowering plants. Prepare your planting bed with loosened soil, and have plenty of mulch on hand to finish things off.

Each of these Pocket Gardens contains 12 plants. You'll get four of each of these wonderful plants.

Create an "island bed" that can be viewed from all angles. Why not give up a little of your front lawn and devote it to our helpful pollinator populations?

Add the tall Beardtongue and Coneflower in the middle of an island bed, using curved lines that connect a "ribbon" of similar plants together. Pop in the bright Butterfly Weed as a showy accent near the edge of the bed.

Save the Wild Columbine for a prime spring-time spot. You'll be thrilled to see them come back each year.

If you prefer, create a structured border around your wildflowers. Bound them in place by a concrete sidewalk, or a modern raised bed. You'll love the contrasting high-style!

Order multiple Pocket Gardens for both Spring and Summer to create a very lavish look that works all season. Plant in natural-looking curved lines, doubling up in some areas for a massed color display.

Give them a little afternoon shade in the warmest Zones. Once their long, Prairie roots are well-established in your soil, they'll become waterwise.

Our native plants perform well in much of the country with very little care. These rugged plants tolerate high heat, humidity and cold.

Space them 18 inches apart on center. Measure from the center of one to the center of the next. Use mulch between plants and keep new beds weeded. Enjoy!

#ProPlantTips for Care

Add a packet of Nature Hills Root Booster to your order. You'll love the leap of growth your new plants will make with this time-tested, very effective soil improvement.

For the first season, provide a regular amount of water each week. They'll naturally develop a long tap-root and become waterwise soon. We do recommend that you protect your investment with water during long periods of drought.

Give them at least four hours of sunlight a day, and ensure your soil is well-drained. They'll happily take full sun, but in the hottest climates, give them dappled afternoon shade.

Cut the blooms after they are fully open. Use them in lovely flower arrangements indoors. You'll encourage a new flush of blooms, and decorate your home at the same time.

Please leave the last of the Coneflowers standing! In early spring, snip the dried stalks to an inch above ground level.

Remember, early Spring blooming plants provide important nectar and pollen. The bright colors look great while creating essential habitats for butterflies and other pollinators.
