How to Use Spring Pollinator Pocket Garden in the Landscape

With these durable selections, even new gardeners can grow luxuriant native flowering plants. Prepare your planting bed with loosened soil, and have plenty of mulch on hand to finish things off.

For the first season, provide a regular amount of water each week. They'll naturally develop a long tap-root and become waterwise soon. We do recommend that you protect your investment with water during long periods of drought.

Give them at least four hours of sunlight a day, and ensure your soil is well-drained. They'll happily take full sun, but in the hottest climates, give them dappled afternoon shade.

Cut the blooms after they are fully open. Use them in lovely flower arrangements indoors. You'll encourage a new flush of blooms, and decorate your home at the same time.

Please leave the last of the Coneflowers standing! In early spring, snip the dried stalks to an inch above ground level.
