To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

The pretty White Hedge Snowberry bush (Symphoricarpos x doorenbosii 'White Hedge') has dainty pink flowers that appear in July and are a welcome boon to pollinators! It is accented with blue-green foliage, on graceful arching stems. You'll love the fine texture and color this plant adds to your garden beds and borders! But just wait until you lay eyes on the large white clusters of berries in the autumn!
Hummingbirds and butterflies love the darling pink bell-shaped flowers that open a blushing pale pink, and in the fall the white berries are an excellent food for birds. The berries hang on all season so they offer winter and spring landscape interest. Snowberry is unique because few shrubs produce white berries! These berries are incredible in the landscape and in your vase bouquets!
It is a delicate-looking smaller shrub with a quietly enchanting quality. The egg white berries seem to float lightly in the air, all about the plant. This, and their small, scattered leaf pattern, give the plant a low, but airy, quality! White Hedge Snowberry is a dense, twiggy shrub that spreads by suckers underground, but can equally be kept as a polite single specimen with ease.
Planting and Application:
The plant can tolerate shade as well as the sun so it opens the door to many possibilities in the landscape. White Hedge Snowberry looks great planted in masses The plants do spread slowly from the base but are easily kept in check and are much less aggressive than the species. So they're perfect for naturalizing, filling in woodland gardens and using on hills and slopes for erosion control. Songbirds love these loose thickets for nesting and cover!

Snowberry grows in both full sun or full shade and in moist conditions, and prefers sun to medium shade, tolerates any soil, and is easy to transplant. It should be pruned before new growth begins. Preferring more shade in the hottest of its favored USDA growing zones 4 - 7 and are very cold tolerant, Snowberries are widely adaptable to any well-drained soil type.
