To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Sitting atop the darker stems and lush green toothy foliage, these tubers grow fast each spring and bloom all summer through fall! Meaning you and your pollinators will be enjoying the holidays in July! Deadheading means the blooms keep popping until frost and they will fill your vases and bouquets indoors with these unique flowers!
Dahlia are perennial tubers throughout USDA hardiness zones 9 to 11 and great houseplants, annual accents, or seasonal bulbs in all growing zones. Northern growers can force these tubers indoors or dig them in the fall and store them all winter in a basement, shed, or garage.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Dahlia blooms all summer without fading in full to partial sun locations and prefers planted in a wide range of soil types, clay, and acidic conditions, as long as they're well-drained! Soak the tubers for a few hours before planting and plant them with their fingers spread out gently and pointing downwards. To ensure even moisture, place mulch around the base of the plant. Adding 3-4 inches of mulch helps considerably. Dahlia tubers can be dug after frost, then place in paper bags or boxes of sand in a cool place and sprinkle a little water on the tubers periodically to keep them from drying out.
