#ProPlantTips for Care:
Roses bloom best in full sun and really appreciate the drying power of the morning sun. Good air circulation is important. Plant in enriched, well-drained soil and provide moderate, yet consistent moisture throughout the growing season.
Water new plants regularly so they do not dry out between waterings to support the blooms. You can either install underground irrigation or only water at the root zone and keep excess moisture off the leaves to discourage disease. Use 3-4 inches of arborist mulch to help keep the roots moist and protected. Applying 3-4 inches of arborist mulch also prevents mud and water from splashing the foliage. Apply Rose fertilizer 2-3 times a year for best results according to package directions.
Growing Hybrid Tea Roses in zones colder than zone 7 should be mounded with 8-12 inches of mulch in late fall for best overwintering. Prune canes to 6 - 8 inches above the crown in early spring.
