Need a Tulip color pairing unique to the spring landscape? Try the peachy pink and deep maroon power couple in the Ronaldo Tulip Blend (Tulipa 'Jimmy', Tulipa 'Ronaldo') with their heavily saturated silken petals! With a complementary bloom time and equivalent in tall height, you'll love seeing this pretty Tulip bulb blend grow and multiply each year!
A combination of the peachy-pinkish, and orangy ombre Jimmy Tulip and the deep maroon Ronaldo Tulip, this blend plays against each other's colors beautifully in the spring bulb garden! Early emerging pollinators and your spring bouquets will glow with this pretty pairing!
You can have fall-planted bulbs like Tulips blooming from early spring through May if you choose Tulips with varying bloom times, so pair the Ronaldo Tulip blend with an earlier and later spring-flowering Tulip or other spring bulbs. Backed by a flourish of soft blue-green strappy leaves, these perennial spring bulbs are tall and long-lasting spring colors!
Planting and Application:
Either in the ground or in your spring mixed planters, the Ronaldo Blend of Tulips shines with other peach, orange, yellow, and pink spring flowers! Or you can go dark and moody by pairing this Tulip Mixture with purples, burgundy, and deep reds! Create groupings, rows, rings, and mass plantings with these easy-to-grow and low-maintenance tall spring wonders!
Both the pampered Cottage garden and the rugged Rock garden are ideal for Tulip Bulbs to dance in! Intersperse throughout your perennial and shrub landscape beds for a burst of color. Once the flowers die down, the foliage of the later emerging larger plants around your Tulips shade the foliage and protect it throughout the hot summer months. Oh, and the scent! The soft sweet perfume brings you and your butterflies in for a closer look!
Want to bring the beauty and scent indoors? Maybe you can't wait for spring? Try forcing your bulbs indoors. Once your Tulip bulbs have had the recommended chill hours, pot them up and water them in front of an indirectly sunny window and enjoy spring beauty in the dreary winter months!
- Blend Of Orangy-Peachy-Pink Jimmy Tulip & Maroon Ronaldo Tulip Bulbs

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Tulips do their very best in a well-drained location in full to partial sun. Tulips do not like continuously wet soil so water newly planted bulbs very well and you shouldn't have to water again unless it gets very dry that fall, or during summers when you have extensive heat and drought. Top-dress with a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch to consistently hold in soil moisture and insulate the perennial bulbs.
Deadhead the flower heads once they fade but let the foliage remain to make food for the bulbs. Trim away the leaves and remove them from the area once they turn yellow. Apply an early spring application of bulb food.
Tips on Planting Tulip Bulbs
Plant your dormant Tulip Bulbs in the fall about 6 to 8 weeks before a hard freeze (or anytime in the autumn when the ground is still workable.). Place the bulbs in a hole with the pointy end upward and at least 8 inches deep (about 3x the length of the bulb), spaced about 4-6 inches apart.
- Full Sun/Part Shade Outdoors - Indirect Sun Indoors
- Must Have Well-Drained Soil
- Moderate to Low Moisture Once Established
- Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Prune After Foliage Yellows
- Fall-Planted Perennial Spring Flowering Bulbs
