Take time to choose the best planting site for long-term results. Be sure to include Nature Hills Root Booster in your order and add it to the planting hole to provide life-long, symbiotic support for the tiny feeder roots. Water on a consistent schedule, and provide a high-quality Rose fertilizer according to the label directions. Mulch around your Rose tree, but please pull the mulch back away from touching the trunk.
Rose Tree Pruning
Early each spring, after the last frost has passed, it's always a good idea to prune back the Rose tree several inches to maintain the nice round form atop its trunk. Keep new blooms returning with occasional deadheading, quickly improving your overall display.
Prune away suckers and branching that forms at the base or on the trunk each year too. Pruning Roses allows for better, bushier growth each year. Read all you need about pruning Roses, winterizing Roses, and un-wintering Roses in our Garden Blog.
