Dream of hot summer days, a few fresh Strawberries in your favorite drink, or chocolate-dipped Strawberries for your dessert! You can make your dream a reality today! The Quinault Strawberry Plant (Fragaria x ananassa 'Quinault') is all about the flavor!
Quinault is an Everbearing variety that produces a big crop from spring flowers, light flushes of fruit through the summer, and then blooms and fruit again in late summer and fall. Warm growing zones and extended growing seasons can enjoy a third crop!
This traditional Strawberry taste is deliciously sweet! The choice is yours to enjoy fresh or in preserves! Whether planted in the ground, containers, or hanging pots you will enjoy watching your large Strawberries grow! Plant in a location where you can watch them grow big and delicious daily!
Unlike most everbearing varieties, which produce vigorous runners, Quinault Strawberry Plants do have a lot of runners that root and will fill in large areas fast and create large plots and mass plantings! Use as edging, living groundcover, lawn additions, and mass plantings that bring so much to the landscape with a sweet and juicy summer treat!
You're in luck! They are extremely adaptable and are grown in almost every state throughout the USDA 4 to 8 and are disease-resistant, easy-to-grow plants.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Quinault needs full sun to do its best and prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Add compost or other organic matter to heavy clay or sandy soil before planting. Keep the soil moist throughout the growing season to have the juiciest berries. Add mulch to reduce water evaporation. Soil pH should be between 5.5 and 6.8. Rake through or prune back your Strawberry patch in the early spring to clean out the old leaves. Trim away the runners during the first year, but rooted runners in the following years can be transplanted elsewhere.
- Full Sun Perennials
- Well-Drained Enriched Soil
- Regular Moderate Moisture Needs
- Prune In Early Spring
- Cold & Very Heat Tolerant
