To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

A Giant Hyssop with lovely flower spikes in dreamy purple that pollinators and hummingbirds adore, the Purple Haze Hyssop (Agastache x 'Purple Haze') will add fine textured hazy purple color on a grand scale for your garden enjoyment! This cold-hardy Hummingbird Mint variety blooms big and doesn't stop blooming until frost in some areas!
Large growing summer-long display of long, thin flower spikes covered with dark blue-violet flowers. The pollinators will adore these blooms as much as you will! Backed by mounds of gray-green foliage that has a wonderfully minty licorice scent, and the showy flower spikes display all summer into the autumn!
Agastache are generally drought-tolerant plants, but Purple Haze Hyssop is unusually more moisture tolerant! Making it a good choice in moister climates and areas that other Hyssop struggle in. Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 6 through 10, Purple Haze can grow to 30-36 inches in height and form rounded mounds 18-24 inches wide.
Planting and Application:
Purple Haze Hyssop is a fantastic backdrop plant and adds vertical punctuation throughout the Perennial and Cottage borders! The purple blooms turn any garden into a cutting and pollinator garden! Hyssop is fantastic for late-season accents around poolside and seating area plantings - both in the ground or in colorful containers! These sunny blooms just won’t quit! Add pots around a balcony so that the same mounding growth makes Agastache perfect in larger pots and planters as upright color that defies the sun!
Hyssop perennials not only look terrific, but they are also a vital nectar resource for beneficial pollinators and our precious native bee populations. Plant Hyssops in very well-drained soil with moderate moisture, Purple Haze tolerates more moisture than others in the family. It has the best flowering with a regular schedule of supplemental water. Deadhead to encourage rebloom and keep the plant neat and tidy. Prune back the stems in late fall, mulch the crown well, and water in well for the winter.
