This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.
Standard Shipping Rates
At Nature Hills we handle, package and ship the products you order with the utmost care to ensure healthy delivery. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the tables below. Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

How to Use Plump & Plentiful™ Lilac Beautyberry in the Landscape
Make the most of both the flowering and fruiting with a high-profile position. Repeat them as an effective backdrop to your perennial border.
Perhaps you've heard of "Moon Gardens" with an all-white planting scheme. Well...how about a "Purple Passion Garden"? Use Plump & Plentiful behind Coneflower and a curated collection of purple Roses like fragrant Ebb Tide and icy-toned Love Song.
Because they work in full sun or light shade, you can consider them for long-running informal hedges. Plant them 30 inches apart on center for a fast start to a lavish presentation.
They do a lovely job screening out unwanted views at a patio seating area. You'll feel protected, without being "penned in".
Run them along the edge of a woodland to highlight the boundary between manicured and wilderness. Pair with other pollinator favorites like Witch Hazel and Mount Airy Fothergilla.
Of course, they make marvelously elegant additions to cutting gardens. Use them with Pussy Willow, Renaissance Spirea and Curly Willow along with flowering perennials.
#ProPlantTips for Care
They'll flower best in full sun, but do tolerate light shade. Give them four hours of sun a day at the minimum.
Although durable and low-maintenance...we do recommend you supply a regular amount of water as needed in dry weather. This is especially important during the first season as the roots get established in your soil.
Use Nature Hills Root Booster for a life-long support to the tiniest feeder rootlets. The time-tested ingredients in this effective formula work in a symbiotic fashion with your new plant to access water and micronutrients.
Mulch is helpful to slowly improve your soil over time. Apply a three-inch layer, but pull it back from directly touching the stems.
Plump & Plentiful blooms on new wood and early spring pruning enables your plant to produce well-fruited stems for cutting.
In the coldest winters, you can even grow them as a compact, rounded shrub. Cut all branches to twelve inches high in late winter or early spring.
You won't believe your eyes when all the beautiful pale purple berries pop! Order Plump & Plentiful™ Lilac Beautyberry this season.
