To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Add these stately blooms to your Cut Flower and Hummingbird gardens and repeat the theme by including them in large pots and planters on sun-drenched porches and patios! Even balcony gardeners can enjoy some Orange Perfection!
Orange Perfection is ideal for border groupings, in long winding rows, or for mass plantings, since it blooms from summer and fall. Don't worry about planting this Garden Phlox everywhere because it is ultra-easy to grow for the newest or busiest gardener, and Phlox is drought-tolerant, therefore suitable for Xeriscaping, and is recommended for Fire-Wise landscaping!

Plant these herbaceous perennial Phlox in full sun and good air circulation, with at least six hours of sunlight for the most flowers and brightest color. Provide well-drained soil, and be sure to give them supplemental water during their first year and apply water in a prolonged drought. Apply a three-inch layer of mulch around your plant, but make sure to pull it back from the stems.
Deadhead after the flowers fade to encourage a rebloom, then prune your Phlox back in late autumn after frost has reduced these herbaceous perennials down for the year. Prune Tall Phlox right after the blossoms fade and tidy up the mounds in late autumn after frost. While no plant is truly deer resistant, they do not prefer the taste of these plants. Every 3-5 years, it's recommended to divide your clumps to maintain vigor and provide you with extra plants to expand your enjoyment. If you live in high Deer pressure areas, be sure to use Deer Repellent during planting, guided by the instructions on the label.
