Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:

Growing Zones 3-8
Glorious ruffled petals, the Orange Poppy (Papaver 'Orange'), are a variety of Common Poppy that is a radiant perennial wildflower that bees adore! The frilly ruffled petals have darker pleated petal edges that fade to nearly white and then turn into a dark reddish-orange center. Borne atop tall, slender stems, the hairy buds are jam-packed with these crepe-papery petals!
Backed by a rosette of lobed, spikey-looking green leaves that look great all spring into the summer. Deadheading, or snipping blooms for bouquets, means encouraging new buds to appear. By mid-late summer, you'll enjoy the unique seedpods that form and can be collected for crafts! The seeds even sound like rattles once they've dried, adding a unique sound to your landscape!
Orange Poppy plants are cold-hardy perennials in USDA growing zones 3-8. Growing 18-24 inches tall when in bloom, the mounds of foliage grow 12-18 inches wide. These hardy blooms are curious flowers that look great in a bouquet as focal points, and are beacons for butterflies and honeybees!Planting and Application:

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Poppy plants love full sun and can handle partial sun and afternoon shade, especially in the warmer of its favored growing zones. Preferring well-drained moist to slightly drier soils without being picky on soil type. Provide a layer of Arborist mulch to hold in moisture and keep roots cool. You can deadhead to keep the seeds from self-seeding and clean up the mound.
