Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

Multi-Colored Bells of the Mountain Lady Muscari

  • Unique Two-Toned Florets
  • Mid-Spring Blooms
  • Attracts Pollinators
  • Great in Containers

This mountain-momma makes for one wholesome and quaint spectacle in spring. When the Mountain Lady Muscari blooms, its flowers resemble a little lady in a hoop skirt dancing atop a stalk. And with a gradient from whites to bright blues, this lady makes for one stunning show.

Don't see the bright white head and blue dress? Well, maybe you'll be one of many that compare the Mountain Lady Muscari to a snow-covered mountain. Either way, this variety of tassel hyacinth is like no other. Its clusters of bubbly flowers fill the air with a sweet spring scent, and its bell-shaped blooms open to reveal an adorable opening, just big enough for pollinators to enter their snow-white rims. The Mountain Lady is also known to transform in color from day to day, dawning more and more pastel blues.

This awe-inspiring muscari will create numerous opportunities for conversation as your guests ask about its origin. Well, this rare beauty is one of just a few bi-color muscaris that originated in Spain. Comosum Mascariss, like the Mountain Lady, are known for their 'hats' of sterile blooms that create a festive display on top of the cone of blooms.

Mountain Lady Muscaris like to spread and quickly naturalize. They're highly adaptable and will thrive in sun or partial sun. They're the perfect go-to for an area that needs a bit more detail, color, and foliage. These mid-spring blooms last and last as each floret unfurls. Plant these ladies where you best see fit, whether it be in a container, as a border, or in your garden bed. They have the biggest impact when planted in clusters, but other than that they're quite easy to grow in almost any soil type.

You don't need a fiddle to appreciate the Mountain Lady Muscari's unique appeal. This mountain beauty is awaiting your cart--go ahead and add her. Order yours now.

We will ship your bulbs based on the correct planting time for your area.
