Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 5-8
Coming home after visiting Japanese Gardens can leave you feeling inspired to bring a small bit of Feng Shui to your gardens! A great way to do that is by adding a Mount Fuji Japanese Flowering Cherry tree (Prunus serrulata 'Mount Fuji') to the landscape. Its classic Ornamental Cherry Tree look is exactly what any garden needs!
Luxurious blossoms of delicate white burst forth each spring on the branches of Mount Fuji. Larger than any of the other cherry tree varieties. To passersby, it looks as though a cloud has come to rest upon a shining, deep brown, trunk. When the tree isn't in bloom, it is still quite beautiful with its dark green lance-shaped leaves blanketing the crown.
Growing into a flat-topped canopy about 20 feet tall and spreading around 25 feet wide, this Flowering Ornamental thrives throughout USDA planting zones 5 to 8 where it appreciates a sunny spot away from pockets where cold air pools.
Landscape Application:
Due to its tolerance for heat, humidity, and pollution, this specimen makes the ideal front yard showstopper. Mount Fuji is also deer resistant, meaning it'll be just as safe if planted in places where deer are often seen. Plant one by itself or multiple in a cluster for a magnificent effect each year. They also look especially lovely as a pair planted on each side of a driveway or entryway.
While the Mt. Fuji Japanese Flowering Cherry tree doesn't produce the fruit typical of a traditional Cherry Tree, it does grow cherry-like berries that songbirds love to snack on after flowering for the season. If you're an avid birdwatcher, then you'll want to put this tree somewhere you can marvel at their different colors and birdsong!
This tree has qualities for all! Not a bird enthusiast? No problem! The semi-double flowers also bring with them a heavenly fragrance each spring that'll have you absolutely in love. Japanese Cherry Blossom is a perfume often sought after and you could have it growing right in your front yard!
As if all that wasn't enough, planting a Mt. Fuji Flowering Cherry tree is one of the best ways to guarantee visits from your local pollinators! Butterflies and hummingbirds will flock to the blossoms, creating a lovely fluttering show for you to enjoy along with the flowers.
