Where Is The Best Place To Plant Rose Bushes?

What Is The Best Month to Plant Roses?

You can plant Roses any time if you are able to provide enough consistent moisture and attention. While there is not a specific month that is best, generally because it changes with temperatures, climate and growing zone. However, the easiest times of the year to get Rose bushes established in your landscape are in spring after the last frost date, and in fall about 4-6 weeks before the first frost.

Midas Touch Rose bush

I was given a Midas Touch rose bush about 6 years ago. This is the best rose bush that I have ever owned. The blooms are gorgeous and it has a strong fragrance. It is a very hardy bush with little care needed. Mine survived a cat 5 hurricane with only some missing leaves.

Dear Rebecca_Pippin,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful experience with the Midas Touch rose bush! We’re absolutely delighted to hear how well it’s thrived in your garden, especially having blossomed beautifully for six years and even withstood the challenges of a Category 5 hurricane. It’s no small feat, and your resilience and care certainly shine through in how healthy your rose bush looks.

Your mention of its strong fragrance and low maintenance truly highlights what makes this variety so special. For continued success, we recommend occasional deep watering during dry spells and gentle feeding with rose-specific fertilizer during the growing season, which can keep those blooms vibrant for years to come.
