To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Like fragrant icing on a cake, the gloriously scented and masterfully double white blossoms of the Miami Supreme Gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'Miami Supreme') will leave you swooning! The large, full, pure white blooms emit a heavenly fragrance and call pollinators from all around!
Gardenia are broadleaf evergreens with deep dark-green leaves that have a highly polished shine! Densely growing shrubs are the perfect hedge for year-round privacy and screening! Bushy and growing moderately to a 6 to 10 feet mature height and a similar spread! Imagine the fragrance a single shrub will fill your yard with! Pluck a few of these gorgeous blossoms and float them in a shallow dish or bubble bowl to scent an entire room!
Also known as Cape Jasmine and Jessamine, the Miami Supreme Gardenia is very showy and adaptable to sun and soil conditions. Deer seem to avoid them and their fairly well resistant to pests and diseases. Growing best in frost-free USDA growing zones 8 through 11, these shrubs do not like the cold.
Planting and Application:
Your landscape will be transformed by either a single fragrant specimen or an incredibly fragrant hedge! No neighbor will mind having a living privacy barrier like this screening them off from your property! Plant a straight line or alternating zig-zag spaced 4-6 feet apart on center. You can prune or shear these shrubs into formal hedges, backdrops, and informal border backgrounds, or plant them along your home's sunny foundation for an impressive four-season evergreen display!
Miami Supreme can be limbed up to reveal the lower multi-branched trunks for a specimen tree form, or left with the greenery to the ground for a rounded bushy informal focal point! Drop one at the corner of your home or soften the corners of a fence line. Be sure to plant one by your front door to perfume your entry, and around your back seating areas and garden beds where the fragrance and privacy will help whisk away your cares and worries!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Gardenia shrubs flower best and display the best growth in full sun. Also adaptable to partial sun and afternoon shade, Gardenia will grow in less sun but you'll enjoy fewer blooms. Plant in consistently moist soil that is organically enriched, slightly acidic, and very well-drained. Prune after the first flush of flowers to maintain a bushy compact shrub, deadhead spent blooms as they fade to encourage more and keep the shrub looking great! All plants appreciate a 3-4 inch thick layer of pine bark mulch to keep moisture in and keep the roots cool.
