Your Rose Tree prefers rich, well-drained soil in a protected location with full sun and good air circulation. Make sure you keep it evenly watered from the day you first plant it and provide a 3-4 inch thick layer of arborist mulch chips around the entire root system - for containers too! The goal is to make sure it doesn't dry out. Quick watering tip: use the 'finger test' and stick a finger into the soil. If it feels dry, it needs to be watered. If it's moist, it's doing okay.
