#ProPlantTips for Care:
Be sure to locate Phlox in full sun for the best flowering performance blooms - at least six hours of sunlight for the most flowers and brightest color. Provide well-drained soil, just don't plant this one too deep, and be sure to give them a regular schedule of supplemental water their first year and throughout any prolonged drought.
Apply a three-inch layer of mulch around your plant, but make sure to pull it back from the stems. Deadhead after bloom and tidy up the mound at this time to shape them. Lightly deadhead the first flush of flowers if you want to encourage more flowers later in the season. While no plant is truly deer resistant, they do not prefer the taste of these plants. Be sure to use Deer Repellent during planting, and every time, following the instructions on the label. Provide good air circulation to help avoid powdery mildew concerns.
- Full Sun Blooms
- Regular Moisture & Well-Drained Soil
- Appreciates Mulch
- Deadhead/Prune After Flowering
- Cold Hardy & Widely Adaptable
