Domes of vivid pink, the Magenta Pearl Phlox (Phlox x 'Magenta Pearl') produces gorgeous and eye-popping mounds of blooms over a rounded clump of gorgeous green foliage! With robust growth, it is no wonder why these perennials are a favorite of gardeners around the world and a staple garden addition for centuries! This variety is especially floriferous and will be densely packed with blooms when in peak from early to late summer.

This Phlox variety has improved disease-resistant foliage and early bloom time which has made these wonderful garden standards so popular! But Magenta Pearl Phlox also sports fantastic reblooming power so you get a double helping of those deep magenta-pink flowers for your landscape, your pollinators, and your indoor bouquets!

The lance-shaped leaves are deep green and form gorgeous mounds that both backdrop and highlight the blooms! Need more of a reason to love Magenta Pearl? These are fragrant and the blooms last for a long time in the garden border and in the vase! Especially cold hardy throughout USDA growing zones 4 through 8, there is little that phases these garden standards! Phlox are also moderately deer-resistant, and drought-tolerant, and are on many Firewise defensible lists!

Planting and Application:

Local butterflies and Hummingbirds will come to visit your yard all season. Feel great about this nectar-rich ecological resource to support the critical beneficial pollinators in your area. Turn any garden into a pollinator garden with the inclusion of these incredible blooms!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Be sure to locate Phlox in full sun for the best flowering performance blooms - at least six hours of sunlight for the most flowers and brightest color. Provide well-drained soil, just don't plant this one too deep, and be sure to give them a regular schedule of supplemental water their first year and throughout any prolonged drought.

Apply a three-inch layer of mulch around your plant, but make sure to pull it back from the stems. Deadhead after bloom and tidy up the mound at this time to shape them. Lightly deadhead the first flush of flowers if you want to encourage more flowers later in the season. While no plant is truly deer resistant, they do not prefer the taste of these plants. Be sure to use Deer Repellent during planting, and every time, following the instructions on the label. Provide good air circulation to help avoid powdery mildew concerns.

  • Full Sun Blooms
  • Regular Moisture & Well-Drained Soil
  • Appreciates Mulch
  • Deadhead/Prune After Flowering
  • Cold Hardy & Widely Adaptable
  • Deer Don't Prefer the Taste
