To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Sweet and delicious Laroda Plum Tree (Prunus salicina 'Laroda') is a Japanese Plum that is perfect for mild winters and warmer climates! The sweet amber flesh is streaked with red, while the dark purple skin is smooth and pleasing to bite into fresh off the tree!
Blooming and ripening early, these gorgeous Plums burst into spring with clouds of scented white blossoms. Followed close behind by swarms of pollinators and lush green leaves! Then the dramatic dark jewels form throughout the tree for you to pluck, still warm from the sun and devour!
Laroda is a fantastic fresh eating Plum that ripens about July or August. These are ideal for baking and preserves and offer up a large harvest for you to try in all your favorite recipes. You will need a pollinator for this deciduous tree since it is not completely self-fertile.
Planting and Application:
Plums look lovely in groupings, that also lend themselves well to wildlife habitat and shade for you! Shipped with their lowest limbs intact, these are fantastic privacy and hide eyesores with blossoms, lush leaves and attractive dark fruit! Create orchards and groves if you have the room, or use as double-duty hedgerows and windbreaks when allowed to reach full size.
