This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Growing Zones 6-10
Vivacious and blushing Kudos™ Red Hyssop (Agastache x 'TNAGAKR') are the perky perennials your garden has been begging for! This fantastic little flowering perennial is compact and low-growing! Great even if you don't have a yard at all! Like a carpet of aromatic color, these form compact mounds of licorice-scented green foliage!
Also called the Hummingbird Mint, those trumpet-shaped blooms are perfect for Hummingbirds! So colorful and long-lasting, the spikes start in June and keep popping until fall, much to the delight of local honeybees and butterflies in your neighborhood! Staying compact and just 12-20 inches tall and spread to a wide 25 inches! These are wonderfully space-saving herbaceous perennial plants that are a joy to take care of - because they require almost no care at all!
The Kudos™ line of hybrid Anise Hyssops are cold and heat-tolerant throughout USDA growing zones 6 through 10 and is generally deer and rabbit-resistant, adaptable to xeric locations, and once established can be very drought-tolerant little beauties!
Planting and Application:
Red Hyssop forms a creeping, low-growing and compact mound that is perfect to use as colorful edging along garden beds, or as facer plants along the foundation and hedge plantings! Enliven a garden bed or border with juicy blooms that will still be blooming long after many other plants stopped in the summer's heat. Line a path or walkway in vivid red blooms - you can enjoy brushing past that wonderful scent! Fill a hillside in the sun with bright color en masse or simply spruce up a mailbox so no one misses the turn into your driveway again!
Use Red Hyssop for an exotic mid to late-season accent around poolside and seating area plantings - both in the ground or in colorful containers! Tuck into planters on your porch for welcoming color! These sunny blooms just won't quit! Add pots around a balcony so that the same mounding growth makes Red Agastache perfect in pots and planters as spillers and fillers!
It not only looks terrific, but it's also a mainstay for beneficial pollinators and our precious native bee populations, providing them with a vital nectar resource. No Butterfly Garden is complete without an Anise Hyssop and migrating Monarch Butterflies and Hummingbirds get their fill of nectar for the journey!
Partner these wand-like flowers with other mixed perennials, small shrubs, and Roses, and with white, pink, and sunset hues for fantastic color combinations! These front-of-the-garden accents look great all season long.
Don't forget to get one for your Cut Flower border, as a fragrant addition to a Sensory garden, or Cottage Garden, or to add hardy color to a Rock Garden in the front yard. Pair with yellow, coral, pink, red, and white blooms for some great color combos!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
This saucy little hybrid Agastache is a low-maintenance clumping perennial perfect for a full sun location, in very well-drained soils. Appreciating the drying power of the morning sun to keep the scented foliage healthy and mildew-free! Deadhead to encourage rebloom and keep the plant neat and tidy. Prune back the stems in late fall, mulch the crown well, and water in well for the winter.
Thriving in drier soil once established, Hyssop can be highly drought-tolerant, but you'll get the best performance with a regular schedule of supplemental water. Although this plant does well in thin, poor soil, protect your investment and encourage healthy roots by using Nature Hills Root Booster at planting time to help your plant uptake nutrients in the soil more efficiently.
