Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 5-10
The unique look of yellow and peachy-golden-orange spikes rising like fruity mist above the cool-green foliage is a sight you need in your yard! The Kudos™ Gold Hyssop (Agastache 'Kudos Gold'), also known as a Hummingbird Mint, is a rare hue for the Agastache family!
This gorgeous orange-yellow is hard to come by! The flowers grow in short spikes filled with two-lipped florets, creating an upright-looking spike that blooms from the bottom up!.. The flowers have a mix of ochre, gold, creamy peach, and orange and their tubular form attracts butterflies and even Hummingbirds to arrive and sip the ample nectar!
Below the spikes of color is its cool-green, aromatic foliage. The foliage spreads to form mounds about 20 inches wide and carries the Mint-family herbal, medicinal, and pleasant scent when crushed or brushed past! You'll love snipping stems for your bouquets indoors, filling vases with golden fine-textured filler and vertical color!
This Kudos™ Hyssop grows up to 22 inches tall when in bloom, so they're the perfect size for any landscape throughout USDA planting zones 5 to 10! This tough perennial is even deer-resistant and resistant to rabbits as well.
Planting and Application:
The Kudos™ Gold Hyssop is great for both beds and borders! Beds are gorgeous in meadows or fields. When you have an intricate yard with multiple gardens, this is the perfect plant for creating borders and separating different sections of your yard. They of course look great mixed with other Agastache!
Use this perennial as a hedge for your cute garden. A great way to decorate a garden is to use layers! Gold Agastache would be a great middle-of-the-border perennial! The pop of natural color will create a gorgeous picture. Just wait until you see the sun set behind it!
You can even plant this perennial in a container or mixed planter! Decorate your porch with cute pots holding the gorgeous Kudos™ Gold Hyssop! They stand up to the sun without fading and will forgive you if you forget to water them for a few days!
Plant them in a Rock garden for a pretty, natural look, or in the Cottage border for a golden mist-like appearance from afar! Groupings and drifts add an ethereal gold effect throughout mixed perennial borders and sun gardens! Especially as Pollinators and butterflies dance and bees hum about. The gold, yellow and green stand out against any boulders, fences, or evergreen backdrops, and become pretty filler throughout the landscape!
Mass plant the Kudos™ Gold Hyssop throughout a large property. You can propagate these perennials too because they spread into polite clumps and can be divided every few years to spread the joy! Lift a section and plant them somewhere else next season!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant your Kudos™ Gold Hyssop in a full sun location. You won't believe how gorgeous the flowers are while shimmering in the sunlight! They love sunny locations so they can bloom to their full potential. Like most plants, Agastache needs well-drained soil. This is so the roots don't drown in the water and end up rotting. Eventually, this plant will be drought tolerant once established, but until then, provide new installations with regular water. You can use the Finger Test to determine if your plant needs a drink.
Deadhead regularly to encourage branching and rebloom until fall. Pruning down these perennials is recommended during late fall after the blooming season. Remove leftover dead flowers, broken stems, or crossing stems to ensure a beautiful bloom next summer. Spread a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch around the soil surface for moisture stability and insulation.
- Full Sun
- Well-Drained Soil
- Moderate Moisture - Drought Tolerant Once Established
- Easy to Maintain & Care For - Just Prune Early Spring
- Generally Disease & Pest Free, Deer & Rabbit Resistant
