Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 4-9
The Skyrocket Juniper Tree (Juniperus scopulorum 'Skyrocket') is a fantastic pointed evergreen shrub or small evergreen coniferous tree with a striking, narrow columnar form! The compact, tight branching and silver-blue foliage are sure to catch the eye!
What an ideal plant for areas where height is wanted, and when there is no room for a wide-based plant, choose Skyrocket and its vertical growth! Growing 10-15 feet in height in a hurry, this fine-textured Juniper only spreads to a neat and tidy 2-3 feet at maturity!
Hardy Junipers are tolerant of both moist and dry locations, they will require well-drained soil! Junipers are great for Xeriscaping due to their low water needs and display high tolerance to urban pollution. This plant will achieve height without sacrificing ground space! Delightful cold-hardy and easy-care throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 9!
Planting and Application:
Great for pointed privacy and fantastic as drifting snow barriers and windscreens, Skyrocket adds silvery blue punctuation and motion to the landscape! Line pathways, that narrow walkway between your house and the neighbors, or hide utilitarian areas like the trashcans or HVAC unit in silvery foliage! Pot some up in large outdoor containers and planters to enjoy narrow privacy and screening anywhere in the sun! Try your hand at Topiary and trim Skyrocket into a spiral!
Achieve a one-of-a-kind look and create a varied vertical look in a mixed Juniper border by pairing the silvery and columnar Skyrocket with blue and pyramidal Blue Arrow Junipers and Moonglow! You'll get a textured look and feel that adds motion and privacy year-round without sacrificing space! Add different heights with low-growing Junipers like Blue Star and Grey Owl. Add focal point specimens like the Spartan Spiral Juniper topiary for an eye-catching display that lasts all year long!
You can plant Skyrocket in beds as focal points and vertical height and structure, or anchor garden beds and foundation plantings with space-saving height that won't interfere with your view or your foundation. #ProPlantTips for Care:
This rapidly growing variety requires very little maintenance in full sun or partial shade locations. Plus staking or pruning is not necessary! Adaptable to a wide range of soil types, the root system easily handles any well-drained medium. Alkaline, acidic, or even poor, gravel soil, salt, pollution, and drought, Junipers can thrive in any condition except soggy soil. Not minding dry conditions once established, it is best to protect your investment by providing supplemental watering in extreme heat and in extended periods of drought. Fertilize with an organic, slow-release fertilizer in spring, and light mulching around the root system will insulate Skyrocket from heat and cold.
