Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Eye-popping white bark, the Jacquemontii Himalayan Birch Tree (Betula utilis var. jacquemontii) is the go-to ornamental Birch tree because of its yellow fall foliage that dramatically pops along with its peeling, exfoliating white bark!
You want a tree that is going to stand tall and proud no matter what and this tree does just that with its upright, pyramidal shape that is known for its distinctive, hardy white bark and strong branching. Showy catkins in the spring become flakey seedpods in the fall for an extra touch of interest.
The yellow-green toothy, tapered foliage turns yellow in the fall making it perfect for adding color to your landscaping, this Birch tree is about 30 feet tall with a spread of about 20 feet, and the toothy foliage adds a lacy air to the landscape. Hardy throughout USDA planting zones 5 to 7, these trees are open-branched and graceful additions to your home.
Landscape Application:
The light shade these trees cast won't shade out the lawn. So feel free to show off this specimen in your front lawn on a berm or create a grouping of these trees for your birds and a backyard hammock in the backyard. The white noise and fine texture created by the foliage make Jacquemontii the ideal shade tree to kick back and relax under to escape reality for a while.
The many perks of this tree when combined look incredibly captivating in a mass planting and Jacquemontii has an easy-care air that makes it easy en masse without all the upkeep to maintain a large stand.
Add lightness to a mixed tree line or brightness to a windbreak by adding a few Birch. You'll especially love the stark white contrast of Jacquemontii's bark against dark evergreen trees and shrubs!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Paper Birch loves a cool, moist, north or east-facing site or where the sun does not bake the roots. Use a nice 4-inch layer of mulch over the roots for excellent results. Provide a well-drained soil location with regular moisture access. Birch can grow in many conditions but doesn't do well with drought. If needed, prune Birch after flowering to prevent excess sap loss.
- Full Sun Deciduous Tree
- Well-Drained Soil
- Moderate to Moist Location
- Prune Late Spring
