Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Light up your landscape with the affable deep yellow blooms of Henry Fonda™ Hybrid Tea Rose (Rosa 'Henry Fonda')! Like the film and stage actor that is its namesake, it's difficult to be in a bad mood with this yellow Rose around! The long, pointed buds are held on long stems open to show off with up to 25 thick, rounded petals! They perfume the air with a strong lemony fragrance that hails back to its lemony-yellow blooms.
Hybridized by Jack Christensen to develop a color-fast yellow bloom that won’t fade in the heat or sun, and deep green, clean foliage! Although not exactly ruffled, the yellow petals are slightly reflexed for a friendly form that lasts about a week in the vase. Enjoy cutting these beautiful, scented blooms regularly for your bouquets! Don't worry about taking too many, doing so will actually encourage a faster rebloom!
Henry Fonda™ displays excellent resistance to powdery mildew. It makes an engaging presentation in the sun-soaked parts of gardens throughout USDA hardiness zones 6 to 10. Growing about 3-5 feet in height at maturity and a bit smaller in width, this flowering shrub shines brilliantly!
Planting and Application:
Decorate your courtyard or small space with one or two of them in patio pots. How fun to enjoy the bright color from late spring through fall, calling Pollinators galore as they rifle through the petals in search of nectar and pollen! Henry Fonda™ will boost moods and boost curb appeal big time anywhere you plant one!
If one can have this effect, imagine groups and rows of these brilliant bloomers! Try a long hedge of these showy, vigorous bloomers anywhere you want a lush and light-hearted presentation. Everyone loves Henry Fonda™ Hybrid Tea Rose, so it makes a very "friendly fence" along your property line!
Add a row along your driveway, or place one of these aromatic Roses at the corner of your garage to put a smile on your face! As a big bonus, this cunning, thorny plant grows into a very effective barrier planting.
Underplant with our yellow Groundcover Roses to push the energy up and over into pure happiness! It won't take long for a garden feature like this to turn even the grumpiest bad day around! Gift your friend one or more of these perky Hybrid Tea Roses. Seriously unfussy, Henry Fonda™ Rose makes a good choice for even beginning gardeners.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant in a location where your Rose receives full sun with at least six hours of sunlight with good air circulation. They also need well-drained soil that is enriched and not soggy. If you have poor drainage, create a raised bed or planting mound if you need to improve drainage. Use symbiotic Nature Hills Root Booster formula in the planting hole for life-long benefit to the tiny feeder roots.
Apply 3-4 inches of arborist mulch to keep the roots moist and protected. Mulch also prevents mud and water from splashing the foliage, keeping it cleaner and disease/fungal-free. Growing Hybrid Tea Roses in zones 7 and under should be mounded with 8-12 inches of mulch in late fall - after the frost has killed the leaves - for the best overwintering outcome.
Deadhead blooms often to keep fresh flowers coming back. Check out information on winterizing, and un-wintering your Roses in our Garden Blog, plus all the tips and tricks you need when pruning your new prize Rose bush! Prune in early spring to about 6-8 inches above the crown to encourage thick, full new growth each year.
- Full Sun For The Most Blooms
