To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Magnolia trees are among the most well-known flowering trees in the Southern states and are perhaps best known for their spectacular flowers! Big and bold, the Green Giant Magnolia Tree (Magnolia grandiflora 'Green Giant') is an amazing broadleaf evergreen tree with superior ornamental features!
From late spring into early summer, huge flowers burst into bloom, each up to 10 inches across! You'll adore the cup-shaped blossoms with their waxy, creamy white perfection, and equally heavenly fragrance! You'll love watching Bumblebees get 'pollen drunk' on Magnolias! They'll be rolling around in the pollen anthers two sheets to the wind! Who can blame them?
Beyond these big blossoms, the Green Giant Magnolia has many other fabulous features as well! Its leathery leaves reach a size of up to 8 inches and possess a gorgeous glossy sheen. Oval in appearance, the decorative, golden hue of the new growth eventually transitions to dark green with a green underside for a unique two-tone effect in the spring.
Fruit appears in fall in the form of brown cones that soon open to reveal scarlet berries, yet another decorative accent to this already exquisite tree. The fruit provides needed food for your birds and the lush foliage wildlife shelter all winter.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Easy to grow Magnolias flower and grow best in full sun, needing at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Plant in about any kind of well-drained soil that is organically rich and slightly acidic. Moderate yet regular moisture access is important, especially for young trees, but once established they become self-sustaining, only needing supplemental moisture during prolonged drought.
Prune these low-maintenance trees after the initial flush of flowers fade if needed. Green Giant is quite hardy, able to withstand drought, urban environments, and seaside conditions. Even deer and rabbits tend to leave it alone!
