To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Featuring an upright and arching habit, this ribbony, variegated Ornamental Grass will stand out all growing season long!
In June it bears panicles of soft white flowers that brighten your garden which age tan for the fall season. These airy flowers rise high over the foliage and bring a soft motion to your landscape.
Hardy throughout a wide range of USDA growing zones 4 through 11, these plants range between 18 inches tall and wide to 3 feet tall and wide. Spreading by way of underground roots to colonize areas.

Ribbon Grass is right at home in normal garden sites but is fantastic at adapting to moist to even wet environments. Plant around your Rain Gardens, along banks of streams and ponds to stabilize their sides, or even in occasional standing water!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Variegated Ribbon Grasses are pest and disease-free. It will grow in wet soil or even in 4 inches of water and it prefers full sun for the strongest growth. A cool-season grass, Ribbon Grass handles any type of soil as long as it drains well, but can handle both rocky and wet conditions.
The clumps may be pruned back or mowed to renew damaged leaves. Divide the clumps every couple of years to keep their growth in check. Despite being heat and humidity-tolerant, cool-season grasses may go dormant during very high temperatures in the summer but will come back in the fall with fresh growth to finish out the year.
