To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Bare Root Plants
Bare root plants are sold by height from the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may exceed minimum height requirements.

- Shrubs & Perennials: 1 foot, 18 inches, 2 feet

Introducing the Graceful Grasses® Prince Tut™ Dwarf Egyptian Papyrus (Cyperus papyrus 'Prince Tut') is a small-sized water garden plant that thrives as either an annual in cooler climates and an aquatic perennial feature in warm growing zones. Lovely green tufted tops and sturdy stems rise above the water, or other plants they're planted amongst.
Forming multiple stems with wild, vivid-treen tufts of fine-textured stems that erupt into a shower of thin green stems that can bloom through the summer, adding to the unique texture! Much smaller than the standard Papyrus, Dwarf Prince Tut™ reaches a tidy 2-3 feet tall and wide.
Dwarf Papyrus loves moisture and water, so include it in water gardens anywhere on your porch, patio or garden bed. Hardy in USDA growing zones 10-11, these are often annuals in colder, Dwarf Papyrus are tall green accents and verdant backdrops!
Planting and Application:
Create a lush centerpiece by grouping Prince Tut™ in an urn or water garden, and create fringed greenery in ponds and pond edges. Use as a fantastic accent around a water feature or waterfall for fringed greenery! Create a meditation nook in your garden or a peaceful destination spot for reading with the bubbling of a water feature and the swishing of these airy plants in the breeze! Plant in that location that's always damp, or where the gutters drain for a Rain Garden!
For growing zones that are too cold for Papyrus to survive the winters, can bring them indoors to be grown as a houseplant for winter and brought back out in spring. Perfect for moist to average soil container gardening indoors or out!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Papyrus love sun and even do well in partial shade. Provide a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch over the soil, especially when not planted in very moist soil or average garden beds. Keep well watered and prune in late winter after growth dies back.
