To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Once the blooms fade, you are treated to deep green foliage that is lush all summer. As if that wasn't enough, the foliage gives way to burgundy in the fall. Truly, Gold Cluster is a showpiece with three seasons of color!
Gold Cluster's more compact form is a problem solver for small gardens. Its naturally compact form keeps pruning to a minimum! Growing just 3-4 feet in height and width, these faster-growing deciduous shrubs are wonderfully easy to grow! Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 9!
Planting and Application:
It is fast growing to its space-saving mature height and width, quickly filling in its new home with color! It is ideal for urban gardens and low hedges. Create rows or groupings to maximize the spring display, or use these mid-sized shrubs as vibrant backdrops and borders along paths and driveways!
It certainly brightens up front yard foundation planting and a hedge that may be getting a bit leggy - adding their color as facer shrubs. #ProPlantTips for Care:
Forsythia shrubs grow best in full sun, and well-drained soil that sheds water quickly after a rainfall. If needed, mound up an elevated planting site with additional soil 18 inches high by three feet wide and plant in that mound. Apply a medium amount of water on a regular basis. Keep container plants well-hydrated, as well. Providing a good layer of mulch will help keep the root system cool and moist.
Prune right after flowering is done. Every so often, prune the largest, thickest canes out at ground level to keep your shrub rejuvenated and healthy. Deer don't prefer the taste. However, deer are hungry and curious. Apply repellent when you plant, and reapply according to label directions.
