Speckled with Spunk Camelot Lavender Foxglove

  • Blooms Encircle the Entire Stem
  • Speckled Lavender Flower Spikes
  • Deer and Rabbit Resistant
  • Great For Borders Or Beds

Camelot Lavender Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea 'Camelot Lavender') is a hybrid Foxglove with large, pendulous, lavender flowers with dark-burgundy interior speckles. Unlike other Foxglove, the 'Camelot' series forms flowers all the way around the sturdy flower’s stalks, instead of just on one side!

These uniform plants create high quality flower spikes in a rich carousel of color as the speckled, jewel-like blooms open all around the stout stems, giving more impact than ever before!

Blooming in early to mid-Summer, the Camelot Lavender Foxglove is a must-have in most any garden, attracting butterflies, birds, and other beneficial pollinators. Plus, it is both deer and rabbit resistant.

Camelot Lavender Foxglove will typically do best in partial sun. Full sun exposure is recommended with afternoon shade in northern regions. It's widely adaptable to different soil types, but performs their best in rich, moist soils.

Although Foxglove are considered a biennial which often makes it undependable in perennial planting, this one many times will bloom in the first season. Quickly removing the old flower stems will allow for more flowers the next year.

Try planting them in woodland gardens, as border plants, or a backdrop for other petite perennials. Harvest some to bring indoors, as they make extraordinary cut flowers for a unique arrangement.

Remember to leave some dead flower stalks to self-sow for future flowers. (Just a quick reminder, all parts of Camelot Lavender Foxglove are poisonous if ingested and can be invasive).

Don’t wait too long to order the Camelot Lavender, or you might find yourself having to wait until next year to enjoy this beautiful Foxglove.
